Tabernas
This village sits between the Sierra de Alhamilla and Sierra de Filabres and is an area of contrasts, summer temperatures can reach 45 degrees and some winter nights drop as low as 0 degrees.
Tabernas is the only true desert in Europe and is probably best known as a backdrop for the production of spaghetti westerns such as “A Fistful of Dollars” and “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly”.
